trauma and recovery

After the earthquake in China on May 12, there is an urgent need for helping the survivors to recover physiologically and psychologically. The following sites provide some resource on trauma and recovery.

www.trauma-pages.com - Dave Baldwin has pulled together a lot of resources here.

www.traumahealing.com - Peter Levine's research assisted post-Tsunami in mitigating the effects of the disaster ... a team also went to Rwanda and New Orleans. There is a rapid treatment model that is cross-cultural as it is not reliant primarily on "talking through" the reaction.

MIT's OpenCourseWare

Many of you may have heard about the MIT's OpenCourseWare. It is a free and open educational resource for students and self-learners around the world. Basically, you can download all the materials (ppt slides, syllabus, assignments, cases, etc.) of all kinds of classes that you are interested in.
