After the earthquake in China on May 12, there is an urgent need for helping the survivors to recover physiologically and psychologically. The following sites provide some resource on trauma and recovery.

www.trauma-pages.com - Dave Baldwin has pulled together a lot of resources here.

www.traumahealing.com - Peter Levine's research assisted post-Tsunami in mitigating the effects of the disaster ... a team also went to Rwanda and New Orleans. There is a rapid treatment model that is cross-cultural as it is not reliant primarily on "talking through" the reaction.

An independent report requested by the U.S. Department of Justice shows: auditor KPMG either initiated accounting fraud at New Century Financial Corp or stood idly by as the failed subprime mortgage lender committed fraud in 2005 and 2006.

Still remember Enron, WorldCom and Arthur Andersen? This is gonna be a new case for business ethics teaching: You need to rotate the auditor more often otherwise the auditor becomes part of their team.
